2 Hasty decisions have cost us dearly in 2 of our home games already. We need to play the percentages rather than go for the big finish. Decision 1. Con Mika going for a try in last minute against Saints. He should have dropped on the ball and taken the 6 tackles, we didn't need to score again. :FRUSRATED: Decision 2. Rhys Lovegrove passing off the floor for Webbo to 'score'He should have held on as we had another tackle and we could have maybe forced a drop out. We didn't need to score again. Bradford got the penalty and went up field to score and create momentum for them. :FRUSRATED:

1) Mika never dropped the ball, Webster knocked on from the short drop out, Mika picked up 1 handed and went at the line. When the tackle was completed Thaler brought them back for Webbo's knock on.

2) Lovegrove had to force the pass as it was last tackle and if he'd died on the ball it was handover. They didn't score from the penalty, there was a further 2 penalties before our defence rolled out the red carpet for them.

Point 1 Fair enough

Point 2 It was the fourth tackle not the last.

My point is we are forcing the issue when it is not necessary

Fully agree. Once a team takes the lead they should just shut up shop and stop trying to score tries

Agreed. I'm all for playing expansive RL, but we ain't good enough to play that type of game. Its been done to death, but there was a clear lack of leadership out there last night.

Leadership and tackling.
