1. Withers
2. Horne
not from this year Josh Hodgson

think these have been the biggest suprise signings.

Withers looks a great player and my MOM today.
Horne looks good in the tackle and takes the ball up well, also his offloads have produced 3 great trys.

The best signing as a suprise is Hodgson, this kid looks great, I have no idea what position he plays but then again everyone seems to play 3-4 positions every game.

Im getting to be a big fan of horney, my views on withers will never change I think he puts a lot of effort in, hodgy is class mika and paea are fab to only one I'm not sure about is mcdonnel his attacking play is really good just hope his defence can improve, and I think it's great that sandy has them playing in different positions, I can't wait to see what o hara does for us I don't even know what position he plays.

Go onto utube and watch Shannon go on there, he needs dry pitches. The kid is very good with the high bomb and running out of defence, yes a bit small at 88kg but can pack a punch. Liked Briscoe but Shannon is a big step up from him. That said he save 3 try today and caught Welham.

I've seen the footage of Shannon and I'm quietly confident that he will improve in defense I've got no qualms about his attacking flare and brisk had a good game if we cud have brisk for defence and mc donnell for attack we'd have a top class full back

Its only shannons last ditch 1 on 1 that looks dodgy. His defence from the high bomb is ace.

Of Rovers new signings McDonnell has been the least impressive but he is improving match by match and hopefully we will see him at his best on drier ground.

Paea came with a big reputation (the wrecking ball) and he has more than lived up to it.

Dave Hodgson is brave and solid, and showed good form up to his injury.

I don't think we have seen the best of Withers yet, like I said the other day the jury is still out.

Horney was somewhat of a surprise to many Rovers fans when he signed, but he is in the team on merit however when Galea returns he will find himself on the bench.

We haven't seen O'Hara yet but he will make a difference up front interchanging with Paea.

Last but not least, the best of the new signings IMO, is Mika. He does daft things at times but he can be forgiven (like Hally can) because every time he has the ball in hand you expect something to happen - and he doesn't let us down. He runs good lines, puts in big hits, always looking for the off-load, not afraid to mix it. We haven't had a player like Mika at Rovers in the SL era and boy oh boy has this lad got a future ahead of him.

On the fringe players who signed Hepi looks very promising indeed, but George Griffiths looks lazy and I might be wrong disinterested in the U20s.

Hornes defence is suspect imo, he misses too many one on ones for my liking, but he's not on his own though.
But I've been impressed with him with the ball.
As others have said, I think well see the best of McDonnell on firmer pitches.
Withers I've been happy with, smart player around the love.
Them other 2, what are they called, Mika and Paea, not been that good really have they ;)
