Ah, got beat.. again! Someone posted on here saying about emphasis on coaching of kids. To be fair to Gene, Chester and Kev Deighton, these are amatuer coaches at best, Its all well and good having fancy trips to Oz, and spending serious money on youth structures if you have people like these coaching them.
Think we need to invest heavily in coaching below the 1st team as we will be relying on these kids in years to come.

Chris Chester cerainly isn't an amateur coach and Gene coached the PNG National side. Where you at the match? If so did you notice who was heavily involved in the game going on to the pitch and issuing instructions etc.

I saw Gary Wilkinson there watching , he seemed to have a knack of getting the best out of the colts , and may be worth making an approach for .

Its good to see Chris back involved with the club after his short stint over the river but i would be surprised if he left his full time job with the RFL though. The RFL blocked him taking over coaching the Hull University team so i cant see them letting him coach our 20s. Would like to see it happen though.

What happened to him coaching Limoges? Or was it Limoux? Or perhaps it was a different French team altogether? Or maybe I'm thinking of someone else?

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
