I think this is the only way to get, and maintain a 10,000 average gate. I think the council would have to invest in a state of the art pitch to sustain 3 teams.

The KC already has a 'state of the art' pitch. If you're thinking about one those i-pitch things, that just isn't going to happen.
I see no reason why the council/SMC would have to rebrand the seats either, we made our bed at the time.
It's all hearsay right now and has been done to death already.

Thought it was the golf stand falling through ;:)

Serious bitm would you need 10k to break even at the KC , given the chance of better corporate revenue and less overheads, once youd paid for the hire?

Polls on here that aren't Rovers-Hull neutral are inevitably flawed. As a bit of fun, it does no harm, I guess.

Might as well but only if I can land my helicopter in the car park.
I'll let Mr. Allem beat me at squash, that should seal it.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

You say how else are we to survive? The obvious one is to cut the cloth accordingly and run the club at break-even. That means operating at a SC level of between £1m-£1.3m.
Another solution would be to scale down the North stand project to £6.2m proportions and construct terracing at the North end.
Playing at the KC, in a 3/5ths empty stadium with no identity is a big NO from me!!!!

I find this a fairly flawed arguement, seeing that craven park only has 2 usable stands, both of which don't actually go the length of the pitch, its effectively like being in an 3/5 emply stadium as it is.
Do you think AC Milan and Inter Milan consider they have no identity in their shared council built ground?
