Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my and the club's control I will not be posting match photos on the forum this season. This is due to a clampdown on unlicensed photographers at games by the RFL.

Thanks for all the support and positive comments you have given my photos over the last 5 years (even the odd negative comment!!), I'll miss taking them although it will be nice to revert to just being a fan again!

What does it take to get licensed?

I tried emailing the RFL last year about it, but as is pretty normal with the RFL never got a reply. But it seems they are cutting down on the number of licensed snappers, so not much hope there.

I don't see the problem with a club granting permission to photographers within their own ground, I really fail to see what they're gaining from this.

Email Smithy, There must be more information on this somewhere and He should have a copy to hand.

You dont do it for a living do you? I would only hope the club could arange for you to be acredited, best of luck with it, dont give up without a fight.
