Looks like the Boxing day friendlies were a success, crowd wise. It would be a great Christmas idea to have a charity derby for the RL fans in Hull. I remember in my youth attending derbies on Christmas day with my dad, used to love them.

I used to really like attending a game over the xmas period but please, no more derby games. I would welcome a fixture though.

i agree, a game would be nice just definately not a derby.

Wasn't suggesting an additional one, was thinking of bringing the one we seem to get in January. As for matches involving out of town sides, I am sure the problems with travel would prevent any away fan attendance and as I proposed it as a charity game, I think the Derby would be the best for charitable causes.

Give me the BOCM Final every Boxing Day...a 'real' competitive clash rather than a meaningless friendly 6 or 7 weeks before the SL season starts...

Agree 100%. The season starts too soon as it is, We have moved to summer lets stay that way. I would sooner have the team rested & fit to play come opening day. I am not sure that the pre season games are that important unless like this year we have a big change in squad numbers.
