As we now know the funding has been secured for the new north stand, I'm just wondering if anyone has heard from the club officially regarding the build date or anything newsworthy?? After all, the news was brought to us via radio humberside and the hdm, and we all know how wide of the mark they can be in their reporting. I dare say that it's all in order, but why are the club so quiet making an official announcement?

As far as I am aware Rovers won't be making an official announcement until w/c 9th January 2012, at which point we will learn who has won the tender (Hobson Porter?) and the timetable.

I will E-mail him then. But why does it come to that. The info I'm after should now be out and common knowledge to all rovers fans without the need for private q&a sessions on e-mail. Seems to me that getting blood out of a stone is easier than extracting info directly from the club. What I heard was building work to commence in jan, with a build time of 50 weeks. If so, were only 3 weeks away from the start of the build but we all know that ain't gunna happen.!!

Easy chief, there's a whole different forum for people that have supported our club for less than five years. You've been a Rovers fan for about forty years, you've probably put several hundred thousand pounds into the club, this entitles you as an intelligent supporter of Hull Kingston Rovers to what?
