....it appears could be offered a S/L lifeline by Hull KR. Rovers have been in talks with his representatives over of a possible pay-as-you-play deal to bring him to MS3 Craven Park. |

I would be very surprised if this came off. When he proves his fitness somebody will offer him a contract with guaranteed money. Cant see why a player with his pedigree would agree to a pay as you play deal. That said if he signed for Rovers he wouldnt have to re-locate and he does have family in Hull who are Robins. |

Strange signing if its true, why would a player sign a contract on a pay as you play deal when he would be unlikely to be in the 1st 17 if all other players are fit. |

Sandercock might not rate one of your 3/4's? |

Leeds have offered the same deal, but after criticising Brian McDermott in his recent autobiography, he may not feel comfy back at Leeds, although he is currently continueing his rehab for his injury there. |

Why is it strange? Keith Senior has a similar 'pay as you play' arrangement with Leeds. Having read Senior's autobiography where he slates the Leeds coach maybe he would favour a new start away from Leeds. I know Rich Agar spoke to Senior but the Wakefield Board pulled the rug on the deal due to the club reaching its own salary cap. Sanders talks in cost/benefit terms and from this perspective I can see Senior filling an obvious gap in Rovers squad (lack of experienced cover in the centres) whilst at the same time developing Salter and Heil and even rubbing off on Welham and Webbo. I reckon it is a gamble worth taking mind you I said the same about Mason!!!! |

as pay as you play it might be a good deal for Rovers, personally i reckon he'd demand at least a reasonable guaranteed wage plus a hefty appearance bonus. Be behind Welham/Webster for me (getting on a bit and not proven after a bad injury either) and in the back row its not like were short of cover, experience in abundance though which is always good in a squad. Depends on wage for me |

Never trust a baldy. That's what Grandma Terrorist told me, stood me in good stead that. |

If we do get him on a pay as you play contract it can only be a good thing for the club. He will have to be fully committed to the team and train as hard as he can and impress to get game time. |
