Would be surprised if anyone went near him, he was average or below in SL and looks like he's failed in RU. Shame for a player of such a stature, but I get the feeling that he thought both SL and RU would only need him to turn up and his name would do the rest, unfortunately for him top level sport needs you to work hard and put the effort in. Unless he changes his attitude to his profession his playing days look numbered.

Tbf to Mason he didn't have a pre season at Hkr and didn't he manage a mom award against Crusaders?

I've never seen a RL prop make it as a centre in union either.

He did show some good signs against crusaders and TBF you would expect a player of his undoubted quality to rip it up against a team like CC, his following performances were never up to that level and his interest never seemed to be there, this was probably compounded by a pretty poor situation being handled not too well in the background. But I still think his attitude is still one of him being the superstar who just needs to turn out on the park, but I maybe wrong.

He's a professional and he'll have earned enough in his very short stint in RU (1 competitive game, last time I checked), to have made it financially worth his while. You'd imagine his options would be limited now, however. Good luck to him though.

IMO he wasn't to blame for the Rovers fiasco - we all know who that was - so good luck to him is what I say.

Hudgell created the mess regarding Mason.Don't think Morgan wanted him really, but Hudg saw a commercial opportunity more than anything. To then get him over here and subsequently bin him off,due to Dobbo being fit,was nothing short of a farce, which tbf, most rovers fans agree with.

Oh right, that. Yes I'd agree.
