1) McDonnell 2) Hall 3) Welham 4) Webster 5) Hodgson 6) Green 7) Dobson Paea 9) Withers 10) Clinton 11) Mika 12) Galea 13) Lovegrove. (After a solid 30 minute spell replace for Watts)
14) Taylor 15) Watts 16) Hodgson 17) O'hara
Still alot of quality missing out on a place in the squad. Young Cox was hard to leave out and I have no place for Murrell. Massive thing you notice is the strength in depth of the engine room.

pretty much right Rupert, the backs pick themselves, like to see what mood/form Clinton shows, Hopefully Murell will have shifted a couple of chins and make a contribution, strength in depth in forwards in abundance which is good, as in other years we've either played players who were injured/not fit and struggled. Looked at my line up and changed my mind again

From what im hearing Keal Carlile might just push himself into the starting role at hooker, he's really impressing everyone at the club by all accounts

Been told by a players father that Carlilse is the best and quickest passer of the ball of the floor we have. Also been running rings round Withers in training.

In all honesty your coach needs to be inspirational in the mguire mould and hit the ground running! Cos if that's your team and the coach doesnt make them tick they are gonna spend plenty of time behind the posts. Im Not saying they won't rise and be special, just that's as average as the bulls, hull and the rest.

RW: Hodgson: He is more experienced then Hall and played alot of right wing earlier in his career. We saw earlier in the season that hall struggled on the right wing (Saints away springs to mind) RC: Webster LC: Welham LW: Hall: Showed his best form on the left wing, where he looked superb!
SO: Green SH: Dobson
P: O'Hara H: Withers: His experience will be key P: Taylor: Was our best performer towards the end of last season and needs to be starting now.
SR: Mika: Will bring X-factor to our team in both defence and attack. Will bring what we have been missing for awhile. SR: Galea L: Watts: We need an extra prop as I think all teams will be playing this system this season and what has the handling skills to do it.
R: Carlisle/Hodgson: Whichever of the two impresses most in training. R: Lovegrove: Gives cover across the forwards plus in the backs if we're desperate. R: Paea: The prop we've needed since our first season in SL. R: Clinton: A fit, motivated Clinton is still one of the best props going.

Average as in play-offs come end of season? which for still a pretty new club to SL is pretty impressive.
We have a top scrum half and a centre who scored for fun last season in the backs, with a blend of youth and experience in the forwards, its not a bad looking team.
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell
