I had the pleasure of seeing him play many times for Leeds United.

Terrible news was only watching him yesterday on Football Focus with Gary McAllister, saw him many times for Leeds United.

Very sad news that has shocked the whole sporting world, such a great footballer, excellent person to speak to with no hairs or graces. So much to live for and a promising future with the Welsh national team. Will be missed greatly by the wider footballing world. Sincere condolenses to all family and friends our prays are with you all. RIP Gary

Like everyone else I was truly shocked when I heard the news today, such a well-liked guy with seemingly so much to live for. :cry:

As a Newcastle fan he was easily one of my favourite players during his six years with the club. Gave so much to football and has been building the start of a promising future for the Welsh national team.
