Hi CravenPark1 I was at that match it was a fantastic atmosphere and a great match, 10000 app British fans sing and dancing through the match. Out sung the Aussies off the field and the team out performed the Aussies on it. I was on a month's Rugby Supporters tour and we celebrated throughout the night and early morning and turned \melbourne red, white and blue, pity the decider in Brisbane didn't live up to expectations . The other game that sticks in the memory is the third match in the 1998 test series in Sydney when all the Aussie media and supporters wrote us off and we took them to pieces again, that was another night of celebrations. Ah well memories are great. Pity we can never string to winning performances together against them. |

Yes the only time I didn't mind getting drunk, the group I was with paid for hotel accomodation and didn't use it, most bars in Melbourne ran out of beer and we had a mid morning flight back to Sydney |
