Scored 2 tries on debut today for scotland looks like he could develope into a top player, has impressed everytime i've seen him play. Does anyone know if he is contracted for next season?

Hasn't been announced that I know of. RBA did mention that he might be though, I think.

With Carlile signing, if other strong rumours are true that'd be the 32 that CS mentioned regarding squad size.

How old is Scott?

David Scott was 17 when we signed him in March. Not sure when his Birthday is.

Seems to be getting a few good raps.

Pah, yet another "foreigner" on our books. Is it any wonder the national team are in tatters and there are 20 page threads about our overseas contingent.

With CS, he is in good hands at his current stage of development.

Scotty hasn't been offered a full time contract as far as I know. When he signed last year the plan was for him to establish himself in reserve, which he has, and then Rovers would look at a dual registration deal with Workington next season. That was the old regime; those plans might well come under review now. I hope so because this lad has great potential.

According to a recent news item on local radio, he is not signed on a first team contract at present, but following his performances CS is very interested in changing that status

A month or so back Rovers officials had a meeting with Hull University officials with regards strengthening our links. One of the major points i believe was the University utilising our young players. For instance i think that James Green may be coaching the University rugby team along with Chris Dunn.
Dave Scott was deffo a player named specifically by Rovers to the Uni as a player who has just signed a full-time deal. Time will tell i suppose but the bloke who told me was sat in the meeting.
