....here are some of the minutes from said meeting.... Golf Stand - definitely moving, consideration was needed re reduction in capacity for derby fixture. Boards at front of East Stand - if these boards were taken down the club would lose a lot of advertising revenue. It was suggested by a member of the steering group that a platform be built the length of the East Stand for kids to stand on, but Andy said this in itself would have health and safety implications, they will however look into it. Savings Club - there will be a new savings club starting next year, either as a cash savings scheme or by depositing payments on your Teamcard which can be used later against passes or merchandise. Club Rovers - there will be no Club Rovers next season, however the club are looking into gearing up individual packages, ie pay for what your requirment is, ie maybe an adult pass and a shirt for example. More information will follow on this. Who is signing players for next year now JM is going - alot were already in place and the board are still on good terms with JM. Alot of plans which were already in place changed when the announcement about Celtic Crusaders was made. The club are very happy with the signings made to date and the onces still pending. Season Passes Information packs for season passes will be going out on 31st August, all details will be completed and all you will need to do is sign the paperwork, including that for standing order which this year will be over 3 months. Renewals and new sales will go on sale at the same time. There is only a slight increase in pass prices, fore example and East Stand Adult pass will be £188 this year compared to £179 last year. Youth and Junior pass prices have been frozen at £70 and £40 respectively. No junior passes will be issued without ID next season. Also, there will be no upgrades allowed next season, ie you will not be able to buy a junior pass and pay to upgrade to an adult ticket for specific games - it seems this has been abused too often. I'm sorry, I don't have all the pass prices written down. The retail department are awaiting a decision on JR's mums passes for next season. There will be new family passes for next season too, 2 adults and 2 juniors, 2 adults, 1 youth and 1 junior or 2 adults and 2 youths. The saving will be the price of a junior pass in each instance. In the RM Stand there will be an incentive for juniors in blocks B, C and D to move to blocks A and E, with £20 being knocked off the price of their pass for doing so. This is for juniors only. The deadline for renewing passes will be 31st October. 2012 Season Shirts Home shirt will be launched in November and away shirt in December, allowing fans the choice ahead of Christmas. The launch has yet to be decided between a central location and Craven Park, with shirts being viewed but not available to actually purchase, this would mean the club didn't have to take all the stock to a location for sales on the day. We are ahead of schedule with shirts compared to last year. Shirt Supplier The new shirt supplier will be a company called Burrda, a supplier of many RU clubs and they are of a very high quality, Andy Mowbray thinks they are the best shirts we've had in a long time! North Stand This not in jeaopardy at all, yes there have been unavoidable delays but the plan is still very much alive, with the board as frustrated as the fans with delays. There have been issues in the tendering procedure which has caused further delays but things are now back on track and the club hopes that work will commence in January, as this is a 48 week build, they are looking for completion for the start of the 2013 season. To end on a positive note, we were informed tonight that not only did we get a Grade B in the latest round of franchises but we were very close to getting an A grade ![]() |

I'll focus on the positives. Eleven sheets increase is fair enough after what, two year freeze? Don't begrudge that at all. New kit supplier? They seem to be involved mainly in Middle Eastern teams, suits my image. I'm in! |

Blimey, Bertie will be devastated and having a little wake. ![]() 3) The end of away shirts on sale after Christmas. Poor Easty: Easty wrote:Rovers feel selling the Home and Away shirts at different times makes sense and I can see where they are coming from. Before Christmas if they release both then do fans buy both or do they choose the one they like the best. I know I can't afford both at that time of year. The away shirt launched after Christmas when the purse strings are lighter would make me more likely to go out and then buy the Away shirt where i may not have done so earlier as the novelty of the shirts coming out has possibly worn off. So instead of buying one I buy two. Being more sensible, the shirt supplier's an interesting departure. Hopefully you'll get a proper white shirt with a single broad red band. |

If the kids move to blocks A and E - that would hopefully free up some B, C and D block seats. Otherwise I'll be surrounded by kids... ![]() Burrda have joined up with Sporting bet on the Wolves FC shirt and apart from plain/solid shirts they seem to like producing hoops. Will we still be sponsored by Sporting bet? They've been quite good although the odds don't really add up at half time, They revert back to the £25 stake and not your current winnings, as they should. |

Mrs Barista wrote:2) End of Club Rovers. Blimey, Bertie will be devastated and having a little wake. ![]() . Club Rovers was rubbish from the off, as far as a long term thing went, but, as has been pointed out to you numerous times over the last three/two years if you joined up, it saved you money. As an accountant, you can see this, unless you're incredibly stupid/a hopeless accountant or have an axe to grind. Take your pick. I've ballsed this quote business up muchly, and I'm in the middle of watching a very terrible M. Night. Shalyman film, but (and apologies for how this post will turn out), Easty is a well known figure of fun, Bertie was an utter raasclart, and no matter who supplies our shirts they will be absolutely horrendous. |
