This is going to be a cracking day!!

Mini Mods festival...BBQ...interviews with JM and players...exclusive JRs area's*...raffles for signed match balls/shirts...Robinette's...singer...etc etc

*Queue jump passes, marquee and the Robins Nest will be open for JRs and their families to meet the players later on in the day and award the JRs player of the year.

The warm up t-shirts that the players have been wearing recently will also be up for grabs.[/url] Each one has been signed by the player that wore it.

Gates open at 10.15 and entrance fee is £2 with all proceeds going to the Australian Youth Development Project.

Let's see plenty of you there tomorrow

I won't be going as I'm a little old for being a Junior Robin and I don't have kids but when and where is it EHR?

Much as i think these kind of events have plenty of merit, holding this one 24 hours before a key SL game seems foolish to me. The last thing i'd want pre-game is having to put up with loads of screaming tin lids with their parents jostling for autographs and photos and badgering them for info. I'm sure there could have been more appropriate day for this bearing in mind they've just had a free weekend only last week!!!

Not the ideal preparation imho.

I thought that aswell. When are the players having their final team run through bearing in mind that the Academy play immediately after the event at 2.30pm?
That said, Mrs R.B.A will be there with my tin lids jostling the players. She tends to do the jostling be fair. I think that Jamie Foster is still in shock from the other week when she accosted him. :)

Don't get me wrong i'm not against these events, but the timing of this one could/should have been better imho.

I like these events but aswell as the timing not being ideal there is also the small matter of Rovers lack of organisation. I know of 2 mini-mod teams that have pulled out this week due to rubbish communication from Rovers. Also, Rovers were due to hold the latest Tag Series event this saturday. Teams from all over the country were due at Craven Park but it has had to be switched to Rochdale due to Rovers apathy. It would have worked really well alongside the fun day and boosted numbers to spend money.
