Think it needs highlighting that we had 7 Hull born players in the team last night. I thought Cox and Taylor were very good for us.

I've been really impressed with Scott Taylor, for a young kid he doesn't seem to get intimidated by some of the bigger & more experienced guys.

They were 8, and Hudds had 4 (mcgilivery, raleigh, cudjoe, lawrence)
BUT, in my opinio only 4 will stay long term the rest can either go, or be patient.

for me its,

Latus- Sorry had plenty of games and been full time for 2 years. If ur good you would shown it now and again

Hodgeson- imroving weekly getting better as a player now.

Netherton- another 4 year deal for me, payrise and- ah sorry, my valium needs topping up!

Cox- looks a beast, heard from his junior coch has a heart of a puppy, wait and see.stats in 20,s say hes superiorto play that so needs to step now.

Sheriffe-hope he is going to be good but my gut feeling is he will be at York/Wakefield etc in time as his size.

Wheeldon- Best prop we have- Keep he is on form

Taylor-very rarely i say outstanding but this kid is, roumour has it hes a good running game (lines) and a great pair of hand (ala watts) the most prosepects are looking to go his way.

Welham- Going great guns this season. If he ups his game next season then he`s gone- no doubt

I'm not sure about Latus going, I think he's a valuable squad plYer. Tackles well and is good in the air, question marks over his reading of the game and his speed though.
Hodgson is okay but prone to brain explosions.
Cox, not seen enough really.
Sheriff, size isn't everything but needs to put a bit of beef on yet.
Wheeldon, possibly our best prop this year.
Taylor looks like he could really be something, possibly our most valuable player in years to come.
Welham isn't the perfect centre yet but when he improves his defensive reads when teams run wide he will be very, very good.
