what do we think our chances are?

we have played 4 poor teams in the last 4 weeks and they say we have built momentum. I still reckon we will have to play the best we have all year, and saints will have to be at their utter worst in order for us to progress to the next round.

there just seems to be too much speculation and unrest at the club at the minute which i don't think helps matters on the filed.

Really looking forward to the day, but on-the-pitch I'm expecting a 20-30 point beating if I'm honest.

Eastmond is now playing well again and looking near his best and Pryce is back to add support.

With these 2 and others Saints still have loads of attacking options and still have a lot of flair and skill in the team.
They also have good 'go forward'.

So our defence which has been found wanting many times this season is going to face a severe test. I'm sure Rovers will take the field with lots of enthusiasm but I don't think it will be long before we are struggling out wide and once we are leaking points it will be hard to stop the flow.

It will be hard even to match the sheer energy and intensity Saints are going to put into this game because week in week out Rovers are just not used to playing at that tempo.

Saints actually are in with a genuine chance of winning the cup this year IMO and they just don't get beaten at home in quarter finals to teams way below them in the league. In fact looking at the past few years they just don't get beaten in quarter finals, end of.

IMO Saints are now gearing up to produce their best form for the business end of the season. I fear Rovers will find out at first hand.

I think you're right about this.

Eastmond/Pryce/Lomax/Roby/Wilkin is IMO the best 1/6/7/9/13 spine in SL and if we can get Paul Clough back fit we'll be a real threat with TP/LMS/Graham/Clough at prop.

Theres always a chance, if we can really fire then we have a shout. In reality tho I think this will be a 20+ points defeat by a saints team who I think will appear in both finals this year and will win at least one.

Pish. I'll see your TP/LMS/Graham and raise you Netherton/Latus/Murrell!
There!

Dont fancy our chances much either but with it going to be our biggest game of the season so far Im really looking forward to it.

They have stars all over the pitch but the man to me to watch out for is Meli, looking strong and powerful in the centre

I'm more interested to see how he copes with Webster. Jakes form has been pretty good in recent weeks and Meli's defence is very ordinary.

Gobbled Mark Henry up with Reggae Reggae sauce on Sunday. Looks dangerous, powerful and aggressive in everything he does at the moment.
