has their ever been a vote on the worst ref in super league every week we hear of this ref did that and this ref did this we must have the worst in the world who would you vote for

Its tough.... most are useless !

If I had to choose, I'd probably go for James Child. I really can't stand the man. He's whistle happy, blows up for penalties endlessly. Think his decision making is very poor too.

What baffles me is the fact that he has been getting live Sky games recently. Mad !

If the players played within the laws of the game no ref would be whistle happy.

I disagree - there are a couple of referee's that want to be the centre of attention!

Why keep harping on the ones we have are probaly the best we have, you have to have a ref so we might as well just accept that they are doing the best they can. I think the demands of trying to keep the game flowing are putting to much on the refs. Childs gives more penalties but no one is saying that they are not deserved, if the rules are being broken then he blows the whistle, that is the players fault is it not?

That's true, but none of the referee's in Super League are consistent. That's what annoys spectators more than anything.

I think its the woman who sat in front of me today, she was clueless, spent thewhole of the second half screaming at gareth thomas for his foul play at going for a fifty fifty ball with briscoe that he was fully entitled to do. She also slagged the halibut off for nearly every decision. He wasnt perfect today but he wasnt anywhere near as bad as she made out.
So sorry for not knowing your name but Mrs Sat in Front of me wins worst ref in SL this week.

Best I've heard is a woman at CP - "You're f*****g s**t Murrell." No he's not dear, and in any case it was Fisher who just knocked on.
