I'm always a fan of a centre putting his winger away, takes a lot more skill then just wanging it about. Requires timing, awareness and skill. Welham appeared to be adding this to his repertoire last weekend. |

Cudjoe's for Hudds in a recent televised game had the Sky mob reaching for the sock drawer. Newton's pass to Colbon was almost as good having seen the highlights now. |

I know you think he's a "flat track bully", but when he's on song the team are far more solid and he does shore up the edge defence considerably. It was a good pass. |

Newtons passing is one of the weakest parts of his game imo, was a great ball though. As poor as Wakey were there were some very well constructed & executed tries on Sunday. The pass of the game for me was Greens face ball to Webster that led to Colbons 2nd. |
