I think he'd do a good job at Craven Park. What do you think if Justin should decide to leave at the end of the season? |

I think Kear would do a great job, one thing he would do is to move away from the deep rooted rivalry and recognise FC are just another team (he would no doubt want the 2 points), but importantly he would just treat us like you should, just another team. |

Kear would be a massive stride backwards, he's a good coach when being the underdog but has never yet led a team onto the next level and looked like challenging. As for treating FC as just another game I'd hope not. Its not the be all and end all but it is far from just another game. Peter Sharp got sacked after saying more or less the same thing after we hammered you lot. It means a lot to the fans of both sides and the traditions of a club should be understood by the coach. If JM goes we need to appoint a better replacement and Kear is not better. |

You miss understand me, of course there will be the bragging rights and local rivalry that is the joy of supporting a Hull team, however I think over the last few years it has got silly (Hudge passing comments in your programmes)..I think Kear will look at the big picture and focus on all the teams in the league. Personally I think you underate Kear, he actually favours expansive rugby and you certainly have the personel to perform that style of rugby, and you performed better when you played that style. |

Hudgell maybe does pass his comments but I don't believe Morgan has only concentrated on beating your lot either. Kear is undoubtedly a very experienced coach and did well at FC and has done a decent job in difficult circumstances at Wakey but I don;t see this as an appointment that would take us on a level or one that would attract the right level of recruitment. The biggest worry with losing JM is that who is there out there who is not just different but is actually better. We would no doubt get a short term boost, most clubs do, but in the long term the appointment needs to be the right one. |
