The guy is a joke, waddles around like a gazelle with a belly full of babies. Ive seen amateurs in better shape. Granted his defence is solid but the guy offers very little else otherwise. The guy needs an intensive fitness regime, because beer bellies are not en vougue in super league.

I think scotty has certainly let him self go in that dept surely the conditioner should be taking a look and saying hang on but uve put on way to much weight, he is slow offers nothing in attack granted tackling is great, maybe we should get him fed up like solomana and use him as a battering ram

Ah yeah, forgot about Solomona, but comparing him to Murrell is wrong as Solomona has been that size since he started at Parramatta 12 years ago.

And semolina really trimmed down wen he first went to wire so it can be done it's just an excuse to get that big or it's a tactical plan by Tony smith.
I don't think Murrell is fat as such, if you look at his shape he seemes to have done weights work but it only seems to have gone on his chest and made him very top heavy. He hasn't got a gut, his shape is very like a stunted Carvell, which for a prop is a great shape, for a supposed ball playing loose is not great, his mobility has suffered as such and hard hitting tackles aside he has become ineffective.

Think you'll find Murrell wears chest protection, hence his seemingly large upper body and agree he isn't fat at all. Doubtless the people who think this are those who shout 'forward' all the time

It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.
