Are we bothering to name a squad this week or can anyone turn up and have a bash?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

2pm (-ish) on a friday is when the 19 man squads come out for a Sunday game. There could be a bit more flexibility because of the Exiles game tonight, possibly.

Drat, I'd polished my boots and dusted off the mouth guard as well.

The Rhinos have included all their England and Exiles players, interestingly.

Don't think I'll get a game now, strongest possible side really given the players injured.
Watts and Taylor to miss out for me although I would prefer to see Taylor in for Lovegrove who seems to be really struggling for form this year.

not surprising really, i dare say hall and jjb who is 18th man were always going to play and the other 3 can always drop out if they get injured and be replaced right up to kick off. Of those I'll be interested to see how peacock goes as he's not long been back from injury

Beautiful morning over here...
However, forecast is for it to start raining at one o'clock, just before the cricket starts and then heavy rain from four o'clock onwards.
All got your cagoules? Good, see you later.

That seems the norm at Headingley in recent seasons, always get a soaking in their cr@ppy uncovered 'away end' West Stand. And to think people slate our place and the Golf Stand!
