Well after the game last night, where both teams played like fairies, we head into the game on Sunday with no advantage at all. The Leeds players should be busted up and worn out but after the touch rugby that went on Rovers have had the trump card trumped. Very poor game.... We need to go to Headingly and be fully focused or we will lose. It was just a run out for the Leeds lot and nothing more. ![]() England going forward are ..............................not. Total rubbish, we will smashed at the end of the year. |

it wasnt the great game id hoped it would be, but the likes of Leeds, Saints, Wigan and Hull have been without several players for a full weeks training, so regardless of how tired they will or wont be, there will still be that disadvantage. Every player interviewed said the same about backing up for there club anyway, they'll all be fine as the tiredness/soreness doesnt hit untill a few days after. on the game itself, if the RFL wants to make that a yearly thing then the players have to put in a better performance, we need S.O.O effort, but saying that, at the end of the day its only a friendly so your never gonna get blood and thunder are you. |

Last night's affair was one of the most brutal games i've seen this season, some superb hits - Westwood on Manu for one. Peacock for one shouldn't have been selected, he's just returned from a long term injury, he is still hitting the straps and it was unfair to expect a major performance from him. The ploy by Bluey to turn Ryan Hall around everytime and kick towards him to try and tire him thus reducing his attacking threat worked a treat. |

I thought it was a good game & not a bad display from England. As for no effort what do you expect the Exiles played for pride only & did a good job, I personaly think they should be offered a handsome pay out if they can win a series around a million for a three game series (if we can find a sponsor to help) all money to be above & exempt from the salary cap & the English lads should be playing for places at the end of year. Better still it Should be Great Britain playing in a three match series. An international series between Wales , Scotland, England, Ireland & France, to help pick the GB team & help French Rugby should be played at the end of year. It would also stop the farce of players opting for England after having played for Ireland Scotland or Wales. |

Enjoyed the game. I'm looking forward to next years game more than the ritual and almost inevitable thrashing Australia will dish out in the 4N. Sport is about competition - we've rarely competed with, and still more rarely beat, Australia in my life time. They got over this by learning to play with themselves (tee-hee) in SoO, perhaps it is time we did too. |
