Outstanding display today from Charlie, 100% commitment once again, his passion for the cause is second to none, he has to be one of the first players to be offered a new contract imo, absolutaly magnificent take a bow Charlie boy.

You can tell Charlie loves the club and the club have shown great loyalty to him. I hope we are offering him a new deal as he's our best utility player. Doesn't hurt that the crowd love him either.
What immortal hand or eye, Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
well of course he loves us as we are seemingly willing to forgive him any misdemeanour. if was down to purely performances on the pitch then a new contract would be a must but with cockayne it isn't down to just that and we shouldn't have short memory's just because he plays well. and as for legend. NO!. Clive Sullivan, Roger Millward, are we really putting ben cockayne in the same category as these true legends

No, and we should let him go. Ticking time bomb. Thanks for the performances but no new deal.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
