Hi all, just a quick message to say that there is a turn up and play touch rugby session in east park tomorrow (Wednesday night) and for the next three weeks starting at 6:30. All are welcome, male and female over the age of sixteen. It's been organised by Chris Charles. It's a follow on from the excellent touch rugby course that he ran recently at woodford. We had a turn out of 31 last week split into 4 teams for a mini tournament. It's a great mix with a friendly rivalry between the hull and rovers fans. No matter what your ability or fitness, Get yourselves down.

Just to bump this back up. It's back on again tonight after the exploits of providing the pre match entertainment at the nines tournament last night, get yourselves down. As always its open to anyone over the age of 16, male and female, of all abilities and fitness. In reply to the poster who turned up and decided not to take part after seeing the warm-up. It's completely up to you whether you do it or not, after that its just a case of picking teams and playing. New players are welcome.

I would but you look a bit of a big lad from your little picture...
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
I hope the lads who take part in these sessions group together to form some sides to take part in the various touch leagues and touch/tag festivals that are out there. We formed a team last year and have taken part in various RFL and RFU tournaments. Last week we were over in Rochdale for the biggest Tag festival in Europe. Had a great weekend and even came away with siverware!

Always makes me smile when people think you can play touch rugby. Your running full pelt at someone and expected to stop and prod them with your finger!
