In an Ideal world....

Full Back

Hooker

Wing

Prop.

Think Shaun Briscoe has had his day now. Looks like Justin will give him another 2 years. Backward step I think.

Fisher coming to the end of his career now, been great for us.

Colbon still not sure about him, then again Fox has hardly impressed this year.

Wheeldon seems to be doing it now but Vella is also where Fisher is. Clinton seems to have found some form but how long he will stay? Watts is a prospect but not strong enough yet. Lovegrove has a place in the side but we need a Andy Lynch type person. Think he is one of the best props in SL.

So at full back Mat Blaymire from Wakefield

Hooker Daryl Clark from Castleford

Winger Matt Utai from West Tigers

Prop Andy Lynch

All these players are available at the end of this year and think we can afford them all with Matt Utai none quota.

Hooker - Shaun Lunt/Julian Rinaldi
Prop - Keith Mason/Iafeta Paleaaesina
Winger - Luke George/Nick Youngquest/Matt Utai

I to agree that there is no better full backs than Shaun Briscoe atm and would take him over Matt Blaymire any day of the week!

Think Briscoe has looked okay since he came back from injury. And probably no coincidence that where playing our best defensive rugby since he's returned. Colbon hasn't ever had a decent run where he's being injury free but when he does have a good run he does look a very capable player.

Hooker and a prop is certainly needed. A quality hooker would make the most difference to our side.

Aren't Lynch and Lunt contracted?

And releasing Vella and/or Fisher would only be a good idea if you could get better british players in.

I like Blaymire but think he is a little to inconsistant, as for Clark, I think he has been one of the stand out hookers in the league. I would love to see the club pull out all the stops to get hold of this kid, he has the wow factor in his game, cant see any reason why Cas would want to let him go.

I know he's been with us for a while now but he isnt THAT old is he? I'm not sure we need to replace him or not really, think there are other positions on the pitch we could do with strengthening first.

I'd like to see us add another prop forward and maybe another outside back.

Although it won't happen, I reckon Cockayne would be worth considering for the fullback position on a permanent basis, I feel he adds much more of an attacking game then Briscoe, whose form has been patchy for a while now.
