In todays Daily Express theres a paragraph at the end of the small RL section they have, stating Newcastle Knights are interested in taking Clint Newton and Danny Buderus back there for next year. Anyone heard anything? Personally doubt he would go, as a lot of things were said in both directions when he left there for Melbourne, and he appears happy here. But then you wonder if he has representetive ambitions, would he be tempted back to Aus.
Tinkler did say he wants to bring the local lads back but I presumed he meant Idris, Ennis and Snowden.

Newcastle are cashed up and now have the best coach in the world. If they offered him a chance to go it would be very hard to turn down. The issues he had where with previous owners/management. Could be a way for rovers to get a fee for his contract though. http://www.rleague.com/content/article.php?id=39413 They do seem to have a great aura around them at the moment.

This is Poorhouse Lane. And this is Neil, the rovers supporter who leads an exciting double life. For when Neil sponsors RLFANS an amazing transformation occurs. Neil is Cabbageman. Ever alert for the call no injury too small! //www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Cabbage%20Man

Aussie clubs don't do transfer fees. If he went back (and if an offer was there, I'm sure it would be tempting) I would thank him for 4 years of excellent rugby, 1 poor hair day and a succession of great Hull-baiting interviews!

He's a decent larker but if they're that wedged up surely they can do better?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Wouldn't be much relevance now, Bennetts the coach, every signing will be his.

If we lost Newton, we might aswell pack up and go home now.
His absence has been even more noticeable than that of Dobson.
