Under 20s was a cracking match with Rovers holding the lead over a very strong Wigan team for over 70 minutes. Controversy at the end with the ref blowing for time a couple of minutes early with Rovers camped on Wigans line.
Craig Hall must have played himself into Derby contention. Virtually everything he touched turned to gold and at times he looked un-touchable. Was up against 2 good centres aswell.

Come on guys, we should be cooing over this result, it has massive importance for the future. 5 years ago if someone said our under 18`s(bearing in mind we didnt have an under18s team) would wallop wigan than i`d of laughed out loud. Well played to the lads and it looks rosey in the future with Welham, Watts, Latus,Taylor etc coming through

Absolutely. Worth noting that there were a fair number of last seasons under 16s in the side aswell. There is definately a conveyor belt of talent developing.

Agree about Craig Hall who would have scored a bag full of tries had his second rower known how to pass.

For me although it was a reasonably entertaining game it was one where quality was very thin on the ground. The skill levels of Rovers halves were appallingly poor and the service from dummy half was at times so slow i thought i was watching an action replay!! Loads of effort and endevour but there were plenty of players for whom the basics seem alien.

Wasn't sure what to make of it all to be honest.

On the plus side though, i thought Louis Sherriffe was outstanding.
