Pedro is back with another chant that will grace the east stand terraces shortly. Ade G gives his thoughts on the Leeds game and reserves special praise for Charlie. And Red Ramblings asks for more Saturday afternoon games in the sun and compared foreheads and chins in this week's instalment.

They seem like good terrace songs and i hope they take off, its about time we had someone to lead the chorus of new songs and chants as they seem to have been in decline during recent times imo.
I remember during the eighties at the old Craven park, there were always at least couple of characters who used to stand with us and lead the kop as it was often refered to, with a variety of chants and songs every week.
We do currently appear to lack those variety of songs and chants we once had and also the characters to promote them, perhaps that will change in the near furure with the above personel leading the way. :DRUMMER:  :)

To be fair, over the last 30 years or so, many songs have been copied by fans of many different teams in different sports, Liverpool (you'll never walk alone) is just one example, probably sung by just about every one at some point.

You'll probably find the cast of Carousel were the first and depending on who wrote it on Wikipedia Liverpool were the first in the 1960's.

As for songs being copied, I don't think there are too many unique to Rovers songs that have ever been brought to the terraces just ones heard at other grounds and adapted to HKR.

To be honest a couple are from fc united after I've been to see them a couple of times this season, and after being a member of the barmy army for the past 3 years I really admire how these fans sing and chant through out their games with new and different songs, rather than hearing red Robin being sung 30 times a game!

Pedro.
