I'll take credit for bringing this song to rovers as me and a couple of mates started singing it at Salford away, then after the 20 mins we sung it for at Salford people are now taking to. You say no imagination, me and my chums from hkr away days have been singing plenty of new songs and chants, it's just a shame people would rather sing red Robin 30 times a game! Pedro. |

Indeed, I first heard it at an Fc United game a couple of years ago! We could always sing: 'Show me the way to go home I'm tired and I want to go to bed I had a little drink about an hour ago And it went right to my head Where ever I may roam On land or sea or foam You will always hear me singing this song Show me the way to go home' As seen by Afc Wimbledon fans on that well known website under 'Show me the way to Plough Lane' albeit they use their own version! It's appropriate for certain Rovers fans who I've seen this year to get that off their head they can barely stand up at an away game!! |
