Loking back on the game how did you like the kick off time? It was a bit strange & took me back a lot of years but I thought it was OK, a good match then plenty of time to get home & have a propper night out. With the added bonous of no work the next day for non shift workers. As I work shifts it is slightly irelevent to me (I was off anyway) It is certainly better than Friday nights home or away for me at least. Do any others feel it worth thinking about ? |

Ditto - enjoyed it a lot more than a Sunday. Think on a Saturday everyone is more 'fresh' and that helped the atmosphere. Other strong factors of course was the weather, opposition and the game itself. If Sat games were to be become more frequent then I'd suggest not clashing with the football season. Police alone probably wouldn't want Rovers and City playing at the same time. |

I certainly relished the after match celebrations more than I would on a Sunday. The beer always tastes better after a win, but with no work on Sunday it flowed in larger quantities! I was pleasantly surprised how good the atmosphere was, as the last few seasons it's gone downhill apart from games under the lights (when they stay on!). Ultimately though, I wouldn't want a permanent switch as I had to miss football to attend, regular Sunday games usually mean I can do both. |

With Conference rugby moving to the summer next year i dont think it would be sensible to kick off on a saturday afternoon at the same time as Skirlaugh, East Hull, Dockers, West Hull and Myton. |

better for travel also as those that use busses like myself didn`t have to wait forever for a bus like on a sunday.. . normally 1 bus is sat ready for us and this is soon filled and then its a long wait for the next one. |

Was a great day for the "Flatcappers" ,,,,,Saturday kick off and a Brass band on the pitch ,,,,,mmmmmm no wonder I liked it ....(goes off in a daydream with memories by Barbra Stiesend playing) lol |
