Can one of you delightful Robins explain why next week's game is kicking off at 3:15pm on Saturday rather than usual 6pm?

I was wondering myself, it seems its a direct clash with some horse race, which seems stupid, but Sky must know what they are doing I suppose.

Maybe it's a scheduling issue around the more regular 6 o'clock slot

1 - Football
2 - Heineken Rugby
3 - Boxing (8pm)
4 - Spanish Football

If it's something else, I've no idea

Its on Sky Sports 1 , same channel as one of the "jewels" , the US Masters, which starts at 7.30 pm, football have the 5.15 slot so an earlier start on that date was unavoidable on that channel...

What about the other two channels?

There's Wrestling on SS3 at that time FFS!

AFAIK Super League has to be on SS1 or SS2.

We are the only sport which Sky "own" and can therefore put on at 3.15 am if they so wish. We just slot in around other sports which they don't have the pull to move.

It will be interesting to compare viewing figures against the traditional Sat night slot.
