4 members of the exiles squad are Hull KR players.
I hope we get some in the team and that they are all 'fit' for it, JM and CN have been big voices in getting this off the ground it would be unfair for us to back out of some of our players being used if they are wanted.

They (we) may have been a driving force behind the concept - but as soon as it becomes a club vs 'country' debate, then the club has to come first in this case.

If RFL want this idea to be supported by the rugby league community then better scheduling is needed. No clubs' fans are going to want their players playing in fear of potentially missing the club game on Sunday.

Is the number per club capped at all? (too lazy to find out)

It's not a problem for state of origin in Oz.

Representing the 'Exiles' vs Eng just isn't the same though is it ....

One of bank holidays around May could've been a better weekend this year.
Next year - would it be acceptable to gatecrash the Queen's 60th 4 day celebrations?

The plus side for us is that we play Leeds on the Sunday and they will have more players playing in that game than us.

Do we really want our players taking part in this?

I haven't voted for my team yet, I'm still pondering.

Just pick players from the other clubs and not ours

Tbh I'm amazed Newton is polling so high.

The coach picks the bench, if he wants your players he'll have them. And it's 3 max from each club.

If the players aren't fit for 'the exiles game they shouldn't be selected for the sl round.

You could be Watts and Welham down as well.

I think this could be a good spectacle, but, in a similarly "pointless" match, we lost Prekkie. I would say its a great thing to have your players involved, but, if injury occurs it is extra gutting. At least if they are playing for your team at the time it's kind of expected (if you know what I mean)

Why.
Listen to the comments people like Barry Mac and TOC make about Newton.
He is a quality player and has been in every one of his seasons in the SL.
