Afternoon folks,
Just got a quick question I'm sure someone can help with on here.....
I've emailed the shop but didn't get a reply.
Basically, I know a Rovers fan who has an upcoming birthday, I was going to maybe get something from your online club shop. I was wondering if there is any sort of 'service' where owt I buy can be passed on to be signed by one of/some players. I know a couple football teams who do this, just wondered if you did the same?

Thanks in advance,

To be honest you've probably more chance of getting a reply from outer space than from that lot in the shop, ive heard no end of complaints from people not satisied with the service they provide, you might be better advised ringing the head office at the Craven park Ground, the number is 01482-374648, i hope you get a satisfactory outcome.

My advise with regards getting any merchandise signed by Rovers is to drop it in yourself to a member of the Community team and agree to pick it up yourself. If you go by official channels ie club shop or the rugby side of the club then i fear you will have little joy. I have come across some very obstructive people within the Rovers camp but the Community team have sorted loads out for me.

Couldn't agree more, I have experienced the same, e-mails not read or answered whatsoever, and phone calls not returned. With one or two exceptions (one particular lady in the Holderness Road shop, from Sheffield I think, is lovely and very helpful). Some of the others, particularly some of the young ones need a personaility transplant and a rocket up the ar$e. Poor marketing is something the club/Neil H keeps saying they are aware of and will be improved and I think it's something that needs to be done sooner rather than later.
Back to topic, the shop do offer player photos for sale which they get signed for you, but you pay for it, very pricey IMO. You pick the photo you want from an album and they do the rest.
I'm not sure a sideboard will be quite as comfortable to wear as a shirt?
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Carol, yes she is very helpful.
The Clubshop has gone downhill in the last year or so with all the staff changes.
Most of the Rovers players are on Facebook, pester them with private messages they may give in and help you?

Cheers for all your help folks,
I'm York based so will struggle to make the club shop tbh.
I emailed two or three addresses and got a reply off a lass called Sarah Smith, she said I could send them to her etc etc.
I did suggest she could intercept the order from the shop before it got posted (which I have since placed) if I gave her my reference but she never got back to me any further. My general ignorance with regards to where everything is based at your end (i.e this lass and the shop my order would be shipped from) isn't really helping matters admittedly, but hopefully we'll get there in the end. I've got 13 days now!........
