Along with most fans i would imagine, i have been watching with interest the apparent fire sale going on at Wakefield over the past couple of days. It is a pretty sad situation and it doesnt sit well with me watching clubs taking advantage of the situation and almost certainly signing players off them on the cheap. I would like to see Rovers buck the trend and offer some of our fringe players to them on loan in order to plug the gaps by the departures. It wouldnt be a totally selfless act because we would see players like Cook etc get valuable game time at Super League level so that they are up to speed when we need them. Thoughts? |

As long as we had the option of getting them back if need be it would be a good thing. We're getting caned for bringing in foreign players but which is worse? That or circling round an ailing club like vultures? |

Brilliant idea and one which win us many friends. Not sure about the insurance side of it,such as would the administraters be ok paying it or would our players be under ours ? But all in its a simple brilliant idea R.B.A |

A very kind and genuine suggestion mate but what Wakey need is money to pay all those people and business' to whom they owe. Lets hope no business' were lost or peoples livelihoods taken away on the back of the clear mis management of the Wakefield situation. Whilst loan players would be welcome the very existence of the club is not yet guarenteed. Sad state of affairs. |

Thoughts? your a true Gent and a proper RL fan, thank you we did the very same thing you are suggesting in the 60s for Bradford when they went bust, great to see we have friends still out there and not all vultures |

Think it's a brill idea and like a few have said would be great for some of our players getting regular game time. I just think if is so sad for all those loyal fans, players and coach whose hearts lay with Waki, hope something positive comes out of all this for everyone to do with the club. Good luck Wildcats.... |

Millard has gone to Cats. At this rate they are going to be playing Kear on the wing on the weekend. |

It's quite tragic what's going on there. I'd like the rfl to freeze all comings and going until the take over has been completed, at this rate they'll add nothing to the competition and will be the wiping boys. Unfotunately for them harlequins have signed the majority of players available on loan. |
