5,728 for 2011. So a drop of -17% vs 2009. Oh dear.

But up this year on the previous year. So a positive surely :) And now people say where climbing out of one of the countries biggest recessions. You claim to be an accountant you would have seen the recession at 1st hand or have all your clients had bumper years?

the 2009 figure will be a final figure. Possibly including half-season tickets and such like.

You more than anybody should know the distinction between accountancy and maths.

edit: I suppose 'creative accountancy' can have an implication of dishonesty. My point was that figures are being used in advocacy and are selected and presented to support a position or image.

As a general and illustrative point 'lying' with facts is easy. There are more Hull than Rovers fans with low IQs - true but misleading.
I am so boring

The caravan industry went tits up in 2008, given how many people were laid off at Willerby & Atlas, one could also come to the conclusion that 2009 was an over inflated figure due to people using redundancy money to purchase a pass. I know 5 such people.
