Post subject:  Fan's Opinions Wanted

As part of our increased coverage in 2011 we're looking for opinionated fans who are passionate about their club and willing to come on Yorkshire Radio on an infrequent basis and speak about issues. This could be either on the telephone or as part of a studio based discussion.

If your interested in taking part or finding out more information then either PM me with your contact number or send an email via www.yorkshireradio.net

Super League fans from across the region are set to kick-off the new season of coverage on Yorkshire Radio.

Yorkshire Radio have recruited fans from all the county’s clubs to be ‘Super League Spies’ who will be on air every week to giving their opinion on all the big issues in the games affecting their team.

The ‘Super League Spies’ will be taking part in Yorkshire Radio’s new hour-long Super League preview show which can be heard every Thursday 6-7pm starting on February 10 ahead of the magic weekend.

The new preview show ensures Yorkshire Radio’s Super League coverage will be bigger and better than ever before.

Yorkshire Radio, in association with Tetley’s, will be broadcasting a record 50 Super League matches this season with special guest summarisers including Andy Raleigh, Danny McGuire, Ryan McGoldrick and Wayne Godwin.

‘Super League Live with Tetley’s’ will be heard on a Friday evening (7-10pm) and Sunday afternoon (2-6pm). All seven of the region’s Super League sides will be featured on DAB across Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Radio station director Ben Fry said: “While increasing the number of live games on the station to 50 we also wanted to increase our all round Super League coverage. The Thursday preview show will be a must listen and we see getting more fans on air this year as very important, as we want to hear from the people who buy the tickets and love the sport and not just those playing it.”

Yorkshire Radio is available on DAB Digital Radio, Sky channel 0209, and online at www.yorkshireradio.net.
