Mike Smith is possibly the best communicator the club has ever had.

Hey I'm 5ft 8 mofo. Willie Mason will be here soon, hope to have some good news about the East Stand extention in the next couple of weeks. Pass sales 5,600+, home shirt sales 3,300+ other stuff was pretty general but still good to hear.

Aye. I saw my mate's video on his phone of my 10 and 20m kicks sailed well beyond the cross-bar but when I went to take the 30m kick the thought of picking up £250 distorted my technique :wink:

The interview, the first of a regular slot, went down very well with those who have commented and will act as a buffer between fans forums. Anyone interested can email questions to CEO Mike Smith.....so hopefully Rovers fans can be updated and Mrs Borista can gain a better understanding (and a few facts) instead of making a fool of herself on here time and again. :D

If you keep calling, you can't complain if she comes. It all went a bit mental last night - happily RBA has steadied the ship, let's everybody try to keep it on an even keel. MR.

Thought Mike Smith dealt with all the major issues and did so very well. Good innovation by the club. The one slight concern/surprise would be the East Stand extension which isn't 'quite over the line'. Still, at least we know and he gave the impression that he'd prefer to err on the side of caution. All the rest seemed pretty positive.
Guess its a balance between creating optimism and managing expectation.
