Radford v Bailey (one on one this time )
Mason v Fielden is the obvious one because of history

I suspect they might be damp squibs - I think RL players take their bumps and move on. Not that those mightn't be good match-ups, but they likely won't be as spicy as anticipated, IMO. Remember what King and Radford were going to to Cooke at the first Magic match? They're pros - its just a job for them ateotd. Perry, Newton might be more personal - they maybe won't search other out for a handshake, but I'm not sure they will in the match either.

I agree MR, but if they do happen to get close there wont be any love lost. Forgot about the Bailey one - would he go looking for Radford though?
As ive said before i hope some do go out and head hunt for Big Willie, it will either leave a player open on the outside or we should get a penalty out of it.

I think a re match with luaki and burrows def on the cards. Then Mason against the rest of them. Bailey will fancy his chances, fielden will come down with the flu. I reckon Morley could give it a shot. The one for me tho is Newton and Perry I reckon Newts got a big score to settle.

I pruned about two pages of provocative posts and immoderate language from this thread yesterday. The thread can stay as something that anticipates the new season and references rivalry without being an outlet for people with an axe to grind. It's a troll trap, basically.

You stifling debate again, MR?
Words like 'cowardly' and 'dirty' are not conducive to debate, IMO. That is why your post was removed. I think some Hull fans carry over the attitude that if insulting Rovers (players, fans, whoever) in a certain way is considered acceptable and goes unchallenged on their own board, then it should be accepted here too. Again IMO, this displays a lack of empathy - and also manners. Dobbins and darksiders, fair enough; windowlickers and inbreds - no. Similarly, I'd ask Rovers posters to avoid 'scum' and similar. There's always the HDM comments section, after all. Anything else via PM, ta. MR

All my derogatory posts were aimed at myself...
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
