With a stronger squad than last year hoping to :

Regain a top four spot.
A good challenge cup campaign ( hopefully making the final)
Further progress in the play offs ( a play off win against a top side)

And continued progress off the field.

Can see Rovers ( injury permitting) challenging the likes of Wigan, Wire and Leeds with more depth in strength. Roll on 2011. :ROCKS:

I think we look a far stronger and more balanced squad than started last season and would expect the teams progression on the pitch in 2011 to reflect that.
Of our major rivals for honours, i think we have it in us to surpass Huddersfield and Leeds but wouldnt like to commit to expecting us to regularly get the better of Wigan, Saints and Wire. Dont think we are far off though.

I don't see next season being any better than last season, same applies to Hull.

What factors make you think that mate?

The fact that other teams have strengthened every bit as much if not more.

I also believe that Green is very much a gamble and totally unproven as an out and out 6, and having been used mainly as a utility player in oz it is debateable whether he offers any more than say Paul Cooke would have. But unfortunately Cookie wasn't as aussie else Morgan would have built his side around him.

I think that a standoff that is professional off the pitch aswell as on it will already be an improvement on Cooke, i am looking forward to seeing him play and forming a steady partnership with Dobbo!

I think that green will be a grt asset to our team both great kickers at half back positions, and allegedly green better kicker than Dobbo plus the gelling already there with green staying with Dobbo, Cooki never really played as well when Morgs gave kicking duties to Dobbo and didn't that benefit us, we will be better, fitter and more eager next season, I'm really confident of it. More rests for Newton and Galea we will see the best of them. Come on Geko have faith.

Other teams have certainly strengthened but i think that Morgan has astutely made his acquisitions with a view to making our attack more unpredictable. This was a pretty major area of weakness for us last season so hopefully this will be rectified.
With regards Blake Green, i know that Josh Hodgson has already described him as being able to do things with a ball that he hasnt seen anybody do before. I realise this hasnt been in a game situation but it has to bode well.
As far as Cookie is concerned it was a shame the way things turned out for all parties but the "Aussie" thing doesnt hold water. Spend 5 minutes in Morgans company talking about Scott Murrell and you will soon see that he values players irrespective of their passport.

We'll see.

As for the Murrell thing one out of 10 ain't bad. Next time you speak to Morgan though, ask him who organised the Xmas training schedule

Anyone who doesn't think the aussie mafia rule the roost at CP need to take the blinkers off.
