There are so many variables, but I think you can split the league into 4 categories of expectation.

Group 1 - realistic hopes of winning it.

Wigan. Champions and quality additions.
Leeds. Drifted a bit in 2010, but they had a really bad spell on the injury front and still managed 4th and a play-off win at Wigan. New coach is always a step into the unknown.
Wire. Back to back cup winners - no reason that they can't be the fifth club to lift the SL trophy. Don't think they will go all the way, personally, but they won't be far off.
Saints. Another big club with a new coach. Have lost their talismanic hooker and losing 4 GF in a row has got to take a toll. On the other hand LMS and Shenton are pretty decent recruits and they keep producing young players who make the step up look easy.

Group 2 - Get to the play-offs and hope to hit form at the right time. Challenge Cup remains best chance of silverware - but the flat cap is working!
Huddersfield - will keep on being powerfully competent. Loss of B. Hodgson is a blow though.
Rovers - Mason, Green and Hall replace players that barely played in 2010. The first 2 particularly should give us an extra, much needed, dimension.
Bradford - New everything, should jumpstart them and end what seems to have been a period of stagnation rather than transition.
Hull - If they get over the tough early season hurdles could do okay. Couple of good signings, but could have done with a couple more to build on their improved performance in 2010. Maybe 1 more to come?

Group 3 - Hope to sneak a play-off spot.
Catalans - the spoonists in 2010 - a massive disappointment. Must be better in 2011, surely?
Salford - Fresh start, a little like Bradford, with a big turnover of players. Their shocks won't be such a shock anymore, but I think they'll not quite have the consistency to make the 8.
Cas - Loss of Shenton and Westerman has got to be a blow to their ambitions. Orr will take some pressure off Chase though and if they win the race for the signature of cynophile Joel Monaghan that would be a boost.

Group 4 - The spoon-dodgers.
Wakefield - ongoing uncertainty over their future has badly hampered recruitment. Kear seems to thrive on adversity however.
Quins - seem to have secured their medium-term future - but too late to build a competitive squad. Will outperform expectations I reckon, but only because they are so low.
Crusaders - Should be starting the season ( :?: ! ) with a points deduction. Catching WTW or Quins will be the height of their ambition - and they could manage it if Harris has learnt well from Noble.

Going in to every game knowing we can beat whoever we play wherever we play them is key. I know Wigan are good but of all the others I wouldn't fear anyone. We can beat Wigan we just need to find a game plan that they cannot adjust quickly too.

We're coming to make some noise!

Is this some kind of old table?.The Dobbins were not even in superleague when Gateshead were and i thought Celtic were in the Scottish premier league and played football?. :USTUPID:

1. Leeds - Still strong all over the park and have good youth coming through.

2. Wigan - Will be strong again and could easily win things as long as the new imports settle in well.

3. Warrington
- Good, solid and strong squad.

4. Saints - Fantastic pack but will need both half backs to stay fit, playing at Widnes may cause a small disruption.

5. Hull KR - A good settled squad, if Dobson and Green gel, then who knows! Looking forward to seeing a mature Willie lol

6. Huddersfield - Loss of Brown will be key! still have a strong squad though.

7. Bradford - It feels like for the first time in a while, the club have a fresh lease of life.

8. Hull - Once again a real problem in the halves which seems to have been going on for years now. Berrigan can be key if he is given a full time centre spot but not sure Agar will see it like that. O'Meley has to stay fit as he lead the pack superbly last season.

9. Salford - Same as Bradford.

11. Castleford - The loss of Shenton and Westerman will hurt, I also think some still question Matterson.

12. Wakefield - Cant see Kear being able to get something out of this season with the current squad.

13. Quins - Club dont seem to be going anywhere apart from backwards.

14. Celtic - It going to be a long hard season!

I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

Wigan - Think they'll walk it this year, Finch, Lima and Hoffman are brilliant signings.
Leeds - I think BMc will go really well at Leeds. His attacking style will suit Leeds.
Wire - Went well last year, Hodgeson will bring them something different at FB.
Saints - one of if not the best pack in the league but the backs dont match. Never been a fan of Shenton.
Huddersfield - Good attacking team, looking forward to seeing O'Donnel in SL.
Bradford - New team and coach. Will come good mid season and go well in the play offs.
Rovers - Alot will depend on how good Green is. Cant see them breaking the top 4 this season though.
Hull - Westerman could be a brilliant signing. I still think we need a new coach to push for the top 4 again.
Salford - Will just miss the play offs. Some good signings but just come short this year.
Castleford - Too inconsistent for the play offs. Rely on Chase to much for me.
Catalans - Will be tough at home.
Crusaders - Tough first year for Harris. Can see a few more players leaving before the start of the season.
Wakefield - Building a squad for life outside the SL.
Quins - Awful squad
