LEE RADFORD has it in mind to jump into the ring with Hull KR's new Aussie signing Willie Mason. Hardman Mason is famous for decking England prop Stuart Fielden in a Test match three years ago. Fielden and Hull's Radford once helped raise £50,000 for ex-rugby leaguer and cancer victim Steve Prescott in a charity boxing match. Radford won that one in two rounds. If he gets permission for a bout with bad boy Mason it could stretch the KC's 25,000 capacity.

If it's for charity, fair enough, but realistically:
Radford v Mason Age 31 v 30 Height 6ft 1 v 6ft 4 16st v 18st 2
Also, wasn't Mason such a keen boxer that he planned on pursuing a professional boxing career? Laudable idea if it's for the Steve Prescott fund or other charity, but lunacy on Radford's part IMO. On the other hand, if Radford won, how hilarious.

There would need to be some form of handicap introduced, maybe 3 FC players could sit on Mason while Radford rained punches down on him.

Mason's brother is a professional boxer I believe.
Whats the point in this fight. According to another board Mason would be destroyed and Radford is the hardest player in SL. There is nothing to substansiate that of course.

why would it be ridiculous?
David Haye was 3 stone lighter than Audley Harrison but look at the outcome, its whats in your heart that matters, not your belly my dear.

There are some Hilarious quotes from hull fans on their board. How has radford suddenly got a reputation of being the hardest player in the league? I'm not saying he's soft, but the only things he's done of late are hitting Bailey when he was on the floor and beat fielden up after mason had softened him up.
