To the 2441 people who lost their lives in the blitz on the forgotten city , To all the men and women who left our city to fight in the Boer, First, second, Korea Falklands, Bosnia and other conflicts, and gave their ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and bring freedom to those who are oppressed, To all servicemen and woman serving around the world who give us freedom and peace that we so often take for granted, To spider who my was like my brother killed in Northern Ireland and to my grandad 1917- 2000 -553 corps 8th army i dedicate this THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD, AS THAT WE THAT ARE LEFT GROW OLD, AGE SHALL NOT WEARY THEM, NOR THE YEARS CONDEMN THEM AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING, WE WILL REMEMBER THEM |
