Kear, whose side came 11th last season, told BBC Radio Leeds:
"Recruitment will be made easier now because this helps our chances of staying in Super League."

I think on the field performances will save you guys and can't see Bradfoot being dropped so who will go?

Whatever will they think of next?

I guess the pressure is now turned up on Cas. We'll be reet this time but to secure SL in the medium-long term @ CP, the new north stand is a must, IMO.
The RFL could face a dilemma and have maybe made a rod for their own backs, but they wanted improved facilities and I guess they will welcome this problem if it means they are getting them.

The question I'd raise about Cas is how much further can their fan base increase because they only have a catchment area of around 40,000 and are hitting around 15% of that. On top of the fact they have several clubs very close which restricts their catchment area also - I don't see how a club can make significant improvements on 15% of their catchment area regardless of them getting a new stadium.

Wakey have a catchment area of 80K and with a brand new stadium and Cas out of the picture, then I think Wakey may be viewed the safer prospect by the RFL IMO...
