It did seem almost a dream ticket the Hall/Reilly appointment but it was not to be.
Reilly was right that major changes had to be carried out to get to SL.

Don't think Reilly came across as a great man-manager/motivator and in hindsight the idea of appointing both Reilly and Hall as a pair was nothing short of ridiculous. I think it was when Nick Halifihi was CEO.

As soon Reilly resigned, the performances under Hall improved drastically and I spoke to many of the players after that season who said they loved to play for him.

I think Hall was a decent coach who could have done well in SL given the chance though he seems to have his feet under the table as director of football @ Halifax these days...

I think hall would have taken you to SL if he'd been given the backing justin got.

Quite a few coaches probably would have in all honesty. AFAIK Hall is a wealthy man now, following a very lucrative property deal so porbably wouldn't have wanted the hassle.
