Getting a right slagging on the Saints forum, I for one hope there is more than just a little bit of substance to the rumours i've heard recently that he will be Ben Galeas replacement in 12 months time |

Would be awesome. He's won everything at St Helens. Time for him to come home now. ![]() |

Although We could be about to witness the breaking up of the great Saints side. Cunningham has retired (How the hell do you replace him-You dont). Long has gone and im not trolling the FC fans when I say he 'had' gone anyway. Price looks to be headed home. Yes they have still have Roby,Graham et al but lets be honest here when you look who has left and is about to leave it leaves some very big holes to fill. Plus Eastmond seems to be turning into a crock ( I hope not as we need him fit for the international stage). All in all it could be a worrying time for Saints. Could this mean that certain Saints players will start looking elsewhere? |

Id love to see him back in a Rovers shirt it would sort of feel right. However such are his interests outside the game i reckon he will retire at a youngish age. Im surprised that the resident Hull troll does not understand the concept of taking the juice out of your opponents which is what Wigan did to Saints in the GF. Saints had to work overtime in defence and chased shadows most of the night hence when that break game Wilkin was too knackered to capatalise. As he demonstrated in the challenge cup final v Hull FC when he raced away from a charge down when teams are on top they display the most energy. As for Saints, worrying times for them. Graham will be heading to the NRL in 2012 so Roby and Eastmond will need to grow up quickly in leadership terms |

Don't want to see Wilkin at the club purely because I don't like the kid as a person even though I think he's a great player. Having said that though, I do think he's a bit of a "flat track bully" who goes missing when the going gets tough. Next season we'll find out how good Saints really are without Cunningham, I suspect it could be a rude awakening for some of their fans - will be interesting... |

Not so sure Cunningham will be missed as much as people make out. Roby has had to be used as a loose man quite a bit just to fit him in the side while Cunningham retired. Now Roby can be purely a hooker. They have young exciting half backs and some pretty decent kids out wide too. As for Wilkin I dont think we need him but if he came I am sure Justin could make something work with him. I just dont think he has clicked with a coach for a year or so. I certainly dont think he see's Rovers as his "home" he left here after playing only a few first team games and has said for a long time he feels more at home in St Helens than he did in East Hull. I'd like to think that Taylor and Watts will become two of our back row while spending on a big import for the third spot. Watts has very good hands and playing wider out than a prop will see us open more doors than we currently do. |
