we got them spot on and it showed why Justin is just simply a better coach. They tried to bully people like Newton while we bullied Horne and Lynne smashing them everytime they got the ball. Both of those two where shocking while Clint just laughed off the hits and kept going.

Sky commentators made a good point about how many carries our backs made, leaving our forwards fresher to put in a big defensive effort. Real 1-17 team effort, playing to our strengths, like our best form from 2009.
You pretty much know what Hull are going to do - it takes a strong effort to stop it, but if you do you've pretty much won. Next week will offer different and more varied challenges, whoever it is.

Thought we made a massive effort to nullify o'meley and fitzgibbon and it worked perfectly. The only player we struggled to stop was moa but he played so few minutes it didn't really effect us.

Great effort from the full 17, bring on next week..

Moa is awesome for 3 mins or two carries...whichever comes first. Not unlike the other pudding, amphetamine nofknguduaki. :D

Morgans used this tactic a few times. I seem to remember us doing the same in the NL1 Grand final, think we won that too...... :D

Your game reminded me of the way Saints played on Friday. Nothing flashy but did all the basics extremely well and, unlike Saints, looked like winning from minute 1 to minute 80.

Indeed, what's the point of signing Long if all you want from him is to ship the ball to first receiver for five plays and then put in an average kick?

As was stated in the week, put them under pressure and that's all they have.

I actually feel quite sorry for Tom Briscoe, never had a pass all night and still managed to be there biggest threat.

I know he's a bit heavy set, but I wouldn't call him fat. He never looks particularly tired, so why do they use him so little? Could be one of the most effective impact forwards in the league if Agar remembered to leave him on for more than five minutes.

 Excellent, should never be known as anything other than this.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Think Moa is a typical explosive forward. Explosions though, even powerful ones, tend to be brief.

Don't think Morgan likes explosive impact props too much. Wanted Radford, but rumoured to have not wanted Feka. Maybe he thinks they might literally explode? Still, 'workmanlike' Wheeldon, Cook and Netherton won the day vs their Tongan Mafia counterparts, so I'm not complaining.

It was a low risk approach , which given the rain at times , proved to be a rather good way to play that game.
