Can anyone tell me what number shirt he had? He became my favourite player when the club shop ran out of no.7's for my shirt so I ended up with him. It's been bugging me all day.

I'll have to take your word for it, I don't fancy crawling about the loft looking for an old shirt to put my mind at ease.

Thommo definitely played in the 12 shirt, cos he was my favourite player and I had 12 on the back of my shirt - not your print on numbers, had to sit and sew it on

He's recently turned out for the GB allstars.

No. 12. very tough tackler for his size. started out at centre but never quite made it there before moving into the 2nd row. One of my fave players too, just for his guts.

Just checked a few old programmes and definately 12. One of my favourites too - honest workhorse who did more than his share of big hits. Didn't he also play full back?
