This is an appeal for the Hull based Dove House Hospice “LOVE YOU 2”.
In the 1980s I was the singer for a Hull band called Moscow. Earlier this year we were asked if we would reform to open “Hull’s Big PARTY IN THE PARK” supporting Rick Astley, Bananarama, East 17, ABC and Imagination. The annual event, held in Hull’s East Park, has proved extremely popular and this year over 10,000 are expected to attend.
To commemorate, we have recorded two tracks for sale produced by Steve Harris (successful producer of Kaiser Chiefs, Santana, U2 and many more). The tracks are available on Amazon, iTunes, Napster and Spotify. One of them is called in my sleep, and the other is of my love. All proceeds (for the first six months of sales) go to Dove House Hospice. I hope you will like the songs and purchase one or both to raise money for that very worthy cause from one of the above sites.
Moscow has a website MOSCOW where download details are posted and there is also a site advertising the event at Party in the Park so if you can’t make it to either of our teams’ games this weekend, perhaps you could still attend the Party in the Park instead for a great night.
As an aside, I have been a supporter of Hull FC for as long as I can remember whereas our guitarist, Twig Leafe, is a Red & White (the fool). So if you want to come along on the night and throw rotten fruit you know which one to aim at….hem hem. |
