It`s as good as a done deal accoriding to JM on radio. Has anyone seen him play on premier sports or in the flesh? Can someone enlighten me to his strengths/weaknesses. Apparantly he played Aussie schoolboy with Dobbo and they were both phenomonal. Glad we are going for a young oversees than someone like Lockyer/Kimmorley.........(well maybe Lockyer would do I suppose) :D :D

Oh and who do ya think was the other 6`s we were in "deep conversation" with!

A friend of mine has seen him on dvd, apparently he is like sh...t of a stick, :MOTOR: very quick and has a good football brain.
he may not have scored a bagfull of tries last season but if you have played for Australia at schoolboy level then your no mug, i believe once he settles in along side dobbo we could have a very good partnership there for some time to come, he is only 23 years old which if i'm not mistaken is the same age as dobbo also.

Will the plan be to play Murrell primarily as a hooker then?

He'll do well in super league, with Canterbury signing hodkinson and extending barba be wasn't going to get a look in(not to mention Ben Roberts).

Moving to 6 and super league will give him more time.

In fact they were absolutely awful, England thrashed them.

I remember the game well, the Aussies had Greg Inglis at fullback.
